OffTheLand implies living from the bounty of the land but working with nature, not against it while gardening, raising animals, fishing, picking mushrooms, berries, making herbal tinctures, etc. The OffTheLand platform makes it easy to earn an income from living close to nature and it’s abundance while also being a good steward to the land.

Problem 1:

Consumers have no way of knowing what man-made chemicals, vaccines, hormones, or pesticides were used to grow, raise, or process their food.

Solution 1:

OffTheLand provides total transparency on how the food is grown & raised, by whom, and where.

Problem 2:

On average, food travels 1500 miles before it gets to our plates. Sadly, the farmer only makes 16 cents of every dollar that you spend on food. The remaining 84 cents goes to shipping, distribution, warehousing, packing, insurances, marketing, and retail. This means you are theoretically overpaying 84% for your food.

Solution 2:

OffTheLand drastically reduces the supply chain to just a few miles. The 84% can be better negotiated between buyers and sellers. It’s a win-win: farmers make more money, and consumers get major savings!

Problem 3:

The global food supply chain is vulnerable to disruptions from fuel price hikes, cyberattacks, pandemics, port strikes, and military conflicts. When these chains break down, food shortages and price spikes follow.

Solution 3:

OffTheLand uses the “know-thy-local-farmer” model. Local growers rely on regenerative practices, eliminating many of the risks associated with industrial supply chains.

Problem 4:

Industrial farming relies on harmful practices like monocropping and CAFOs, leading to nutrient-poor, flavorless food that's picked unripe and chemically treated.

Solution 4:

Local small-scale farmers use organic and regenerative methods, focusing on soil health and diversity. OffTheLand connects you with fresh, nutrient-rich, and flavorful food grown with care.
